10+ Semrush alternatives: Compared by features and data coverage
In 2026, visibility is no longer a localized SEO problem. It is an ecosystem challenge.
If you’re evaluating Semrush alternatives, you’re likely feeling this strategic tension. You’re asked to justify the ROI of brand presence across traditional search, LLM citations, and social sentiment, but your current toolset likely keeps that data in silos. You have those metrics, but you lack systemic clarity.
On top of that, most platforms are built for checking off technical boxes. But for those responsible for strategy, the goal has shifted. You need to understand how these disparate signals correlate to influence your brand’s impact.
I tested the solutions that move beyond SEO-only data and toward layered insights. And here’s my top list!
Did you test out any of these SEO tools? We’d love to hear your opinion! Rate the tools you used, whether it was one platform or more.
How did I evaluate the Semrush alternatives in this list?
To properly evaluate Semrush alternatives, I considered a range of key factors:
- Functionality and data sets: What features the tool covers and how well it handles visibility across channels: traditional search, LLM results, traffic, and social signals.
- Interface: How quickly can a team get to what it needs? Is the workflow intuitive for day-to-day use across projects and clients, or does navigation get in the way?
- User reviews: What are people saying about the tool? Does it have a positive reputation? Why or why not?
- Price: What do you actually get at each plan level?

1. SE Ranking
SE Ranking has grown well past its rank-tracker origins. Today, it covers a harder problem: helping agencies and marketing teams track visibility across channels and connect those signals to the wider picture of what’s happening with a brand’s presence online.
Functionality
While SE Ranking provides a solid core SEO toolset (keyword research, site audits, competitive research, backlink analysis, local SEO solutions, and content marketing tools), its primary differentiator is its focus on the broader ecosystem. It connects LLM visibility, social analytics, and traffic with SEO data to give you a clearer picture of your overall brand visibility.
- AI search coverage: The AI Search Toolkit tracks brand and domain visibility across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. You can benchmark against competitors, follow how your visibility shifts over time, and set up daily tracking to catch changes as they happen.
- Social analytics via Planable: SE Ranking’s ecosystem includes Planable, which adds a social media analytics layer. The data lives separately for now, but this gives teams working across SEO, AI search, and social a way to access performance signals from each channel.
- GA4 integration: SE Ranking connects with Google Analytics 4, bringing traffic and user behavior data into the same workflow. That means you can look at how changes in your search or AI visibility translate to actual shifts in traffic and on-site behavior.
- MCP server and API: SE Ranking’s API now offers an MCP server that delivers keyword, competitor research, backlink data, LLM visibility directly inside AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. This integration makes it easier to connect SE Ranking with your workflows.
The platform also offers white labeling, scheduled client reports, a Lead Generator, and a listing in SE Ranking’s agency catalog as a part of its Agency Pack.
Interface
SE Ranking’s interface is structured around a left-hand project menu for tools and features, with a customizable top menu for quick access to the ones you use most. The navigation is clean and consistent, which keeps the day-to-day workflow from becoming a friction point.

From the same workspace, you can also reach SE Visible for AI visibility analysis and Planable for social media management. No separate logins needed. SE Ranking is also working on a unified dashboard that would surface data from across these channels in one view, including cross-channel correlations. That’s not available yet, but it signals where the platform is heading.
User reviews
On G2, SE Ranking has an overall rating of 4.8/5 stars, higher than any other Semrush alternative on this list. It also has 4.7/5 stars on Capterra (retrieved Feb 2026).
Brad Smith, Founder and Director at Succeed Digital, describes how SE Ranking changed their client work:
Will Melton, CEO at Xponent21, puts it in operational terms:
For teams coming from Semrush specifically, Tanmay Sarkar, Senior Manager of Demand Generation at Airbyte, describes the migration:
Price
SE Ranking’s plans start from $129 monthly. Included manager seats vary by plan (1–3), with additional seats available at $20/month each.
All plans include core SEO features, historical data access, Looker Studio integration, and AI search tracking, with limits that scale up across tiers. Higher plans add more projects, larger data allowances, API access, personalized onboarding, and dedicated support.
Reporting is included at 10–30 scheduled reports per plan, with GSC and GA4 integration and automated or manual delivery built in, not gated behind an additional fee.
For agencies needing white labeling, lead generation, and expanded client management, the Agency Pack is available from $69/month.
SE Ranking is worth considering for mid-sized agencies and mid-market businesses building workflows that connect SEO data with broader brand performance signals.
If you’re interested in the SE Ranking platform, you can easily migrate all your data from Semrush with free migration on annual plans.
2. Ahrefs
Ahrefs is another worthy alternative to Semrush for teams whose strategy relies heavily on backlink analysis. While it shares many core SEO functionalities with Semrush, its approach is built for the technical specialist rather than the ecosystem strategist.
Functionality
If you’re looking for a wealth of data, Ahrefs doesn’t disappoint. Ahrefs is a powerful all-in-one SEO tool, with in-depth backlink analysis and extensive opportunities to research competitors and their top pages. You can also explore paid traffic, discover the best PPC keywords, and identify broken links. Ahrefs also gives you a competitive edge by showing you where your competitors outrank you.
However, Ahrefs operates primarily within the SEO silo. While it also offers Brand Radar (a tool that shows how AI presents your brand in search results), it comes as a specialized add-on not included in core plans. The tool lets you compare your brand’s visibility against competitors, and helps identify key topics driving AI search traffic to your site. It supports all major AI search engines, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini.
Ahrefs has the largest backlink database with top-quality link data, but some users complain that its keyword search volumes and traffic estimates are a bit off. It also lacks full-scale local SEO tools, meaning you’ll need to pay extra to get your local SEO needs covered. Ahrefs only offers the Google Business Profile monitoring feature. Another option is to consider Ahrefs alternatives that offer these features.
Interface
Ahrefs has a steeper learning curve. It’s certainly not as intuitive as Ubersuggest, but it’s easier on the eyes than Semrush. Ahrefs has tons of nooks and crannies: just take a look at the left-hand side navigation menus.

Also, Ahrefs’s interface and user experience are only marginally smoother than Semrush’s.
User reviews
The crowd has spoken, and they love Ahrefs. On Capterra, it has 4.7 out of 5 stars. It also sits at 4.5 out of 5 stars on G2. And on TrustRadius, it averages 9.1 out of 10 stars. One recent review called it the “one-stop shop for SEO insights, analysis, and actionable recommendations.” Not bad!
Price
Ahrefs isn’t cheap, but it can be more affordable than Semrush. Its prices also tend to increase as its limit usage decreases, meaning you’ll pay more for less access.
Ahrefs’ Starter plan, priced at $29 per month, is the most affordable option and operates on a credit-based system. It provides 100 monthly credits that get used up after generating reports or retrieving new data from key tools. This plan offers limited access to Site Explorer, Keywords Explorer, Rank Tracker and Site Audit. However, the credit allowance is minimal, making it suitable for beginners with basic needs.
For more comprehensive features, the Lite plan at $129 per month is a better fit for freelancers and small businesses. It includes 750 keywords for tracking with weekly updates, six months of historical data, and 500 credits. Additionally, this plan supports unlimited verified projects and up to five unverified ones.
If you want access to more features and higher limits, Ahrefs’s next plans are $249 and $449 per month and $14,990 per year for the enterprise subscription. Users can sign up for free, but using the tools will cost credits. Be ready to pay $40-100/month for every additional user and at least $200 to update your ranking data daily instead of weekly. Plus, if you want to track your website mentions in AI search engines, you’ll need to pay an additional $199 per month. In contrast, SE Ranking includes 1-3 manager seats, daily rank tracking, and AI search tools in its subscriptions.
3. Moz Pro
This all-in-one SEO tool suite is another common Semrush alternative. Moz Pro is easy to use because it simplifies the SEO process. This helps users spend less time on complex spreadsheets and more time making smart, data-driven decisions.
Functionality
Moz Pro offers all the standard tools of a professional SEO platform. Its Keyword Explorer tool, for example, helps you understand how people find you online while showing you which keywords to target. This tool also includes an AI Overviews feature that lets you track and monitor the presence of AIOs in the SERPs for your target keywords.
This is why I put this tool on our best keyword search software list. Moz Pro also lets you track local and national rankings in Google (US and international, plus mobile), Yahoo and Bing; crawl and audit your site to identify errors or bugs; find opportunities to optimize your web pages further; create custom reports; and improve your overall linking architecture. Unfortunately, Moz Pro isn’t as flexible as SE Ranking and other Semrush alternatives. Moz Pro’s developers are also not actively developing or expanding it.
Interface
While Moz Pro is robust, its user interface isn’t as smooth. It’s also difficult to customize its views and reports. Plus, its data isn’t always all that fresh and accurate. Because of this, Moz alternatives like SE Ranking or Semrush may be more suitable for some users.

User reviews
Moz Pro currently has 4.3 out of 5 stars on G2. On Capterra, it has 4.5 out of 5 stars. It also has 8.1 out of 10 stars on TrustRadius. This means Moz Pro takes a back seat to other Semrush alternatives on this list.
Price
Moz Pro’s most basic plan (Starter) is super affordable—just $49 per month. With it, you get 1 user seat, 1 tracked site, 50 tracked keywords per month, and 5,000 pages crawled per week. However, this plan’s limited data allowances make it best for small businesses or single-website startups.
The Standard plan, priced at $99 per month, offers slightly higher limits, including backlink analysis and unlimited scheduled reports.
Businesses with more complex needs typically opt for the Medium plan, which costs $179 per month. With this plan, users can track up to 10 websites, manage more keywords (1,500 across four search engines, totaling 6,000, versus Semrush’s 1,500 and 5,000). Additionally, Moz’s Medium plan includes site crawls of up to 500,000 pages per week, whereas Semrush’s Pro+ plan supports only 300,000.
4. Spyfu
Founded in 2005, SpyFu has steadily improved its suite of ‘spy’ tools to become a well-rounded keyword research and competitor analysis platform for the budget-conscious. SpyFu makes website optimization easy with its user-friendly interface and smart PPC features. Its affordable pricing ensures you get great value without overspending. That’s why it’s also one of the best alternatives to Semrush.
Functionality
Spyfu is an all-in-one SEO suite with a focus on competitor analysis. Praised by SMBs and agencies for its Ad History feature, Spyfu provides tons of data on a competitor’s PPC ads, including ad copy, landing pages, and estimated ad spend. You can use this feature to turn your competitors into your greatest advisors by discovering how your rivals’ ad copy changed over time. You can also conduct in-depth SEO content analysis with SpyFu’s Rival Flow AI feature, which compares, contrasts, and rewrites top-ranking content.
But if you require brand monitoring and social media features to monitor your competitors, Semrush is the better choice. SpyFu does not include them.
Also, SpyFu doesn’t have technical and on-page optimization tools. Its rank-tracking capabilities are also quite basic, and its backlink databases are not as extensive as those of Semrush and Ahrefs.
It does offer an AI search toolset, but it’s limited to CharGPT.
SpyFu also has robust keyword research features, providing users with information on cost-per-click, search volume, and historical data. Keep in mind, however, that SpyFu’s strength lies in its competitor-based keyword research capabilities, so you won’t get as much information on long-tail keywords as you would if you were to use Semrush. SE Ranking is also a great alternative to SpyFu if you’d rather have a keyword grouping feature to organize and optimize your content.
Interface

Both agencies and SMBs will enjoy how SpyFu conveniently lays out its navigation bar across the top of the dashboard. Consider this SpyFu’s welcome mat to its easy-to-use interface, which was designed to provide users with quick and easy access to all of its data. SpyFu’s dashboard’s design is also intuitive: its color scheme and type font are easy on the eyes.
User Reviews
Although SpyFu doesn’t have as many reviews as some of the larger competitors on this list, it caters well to its smaller user base. SpyFu currently sits at 4.6 out of 5 stars on G2. It also has 4.5 out of 5 stars on Capterra, and 7 out of 10 stars on TrustRadius.
Many reviews on G2 praise SpyFu for its ease of use and pricing, highlighting its ability to quickly and easily track competitors as a major advantage. This sounds promising for SMBs and agencies that care most about competitor analysis.
Price
SpyFu’s subscription plans are way more affordable than Semrush’s. Its Basic plan starts at $39/month versus Semrush’s $199/month, rising to $119/month for its Pro + AI plan (first month costs $59) and to $249/month for the Team/Agency plan. Still, it’s nowhere near as expensive as Semrush’s equivalent (Advanced plan), which is $549.
With the Pro + AI plan, you get over 10 years of historical data, 15k weekly tracked keyword rankings, API access, and more. Also, unlike Semrush, all SpyFu plans give you unlimited access to its US and international data.
5. Similarweb
Next up is Similarweb, a platform similar to Semrush but with a stronger focus on web traffic analysis and market research over traditional SEO metrics.
Functionality
Similarweb provides SEO features for keyword research, rank tracking, site auditing, and backlink analysis, which make up only a fraction of its broader suite of tools.
Unlike Semrush, which focuses more on SEO and content marketing, Similarweb leans more on web traffic analysis and market research.
This is because Similarweb is a digital intelligence platform. It keeps track of market changes and benchmark performance, automates sales workflows at every funnel stage, and gives you access to unified cross-retail analytics, among other capabilities.
However, Similarweb does not currently offer tools for local SEO, content optimization, or social media management—features that SEO tools like Semrush provide.
It offers AI search intelligence data as a separate product. It includes competitive analysis, AI brand visibility, sentiment analysis, and citation analysis. The list of features, limits, and pricing varies based on subscription.
While Similarweb is a great choice for market research and high-level competitive analysis (which also includes SEO), it may not be the best option for those seeking a more SEO-focused solution like Semrush.
Interface
Similarweb’s interface is generally well-organized with a clear layout. Major features are accessible via a navigation menu that allows users to quickly switch between different data (e.g., website analysis, search tracking, keyword research, etc.).

Still, many user reviews point out its outdated interface compared to other SEO tools. Users often say it could be more intuitive, with a better-developed UX.
User reviews
Users appreciate the platform’s simplicity and heavy focus on features like traffic analysis and competitor research. The platform has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars on G2 and a 4.6 out of 5 stars on Capterra.
But users often mention the platform’s data accuracy as a major drawback. Specifically, data accuracy for smaller websites can be inconsistent, resulting in less reliable insights for niche markets or lower-traffic sites.
Pricing
SimilarWeb’s web intelligence comes with three plans:
- Competitive Intel, SEO & AEO & Ads at $540 per month
- Competitive Intelligence at $125 per month
- Competitive Intel & SEO & AEO at $335 per month
In comparison, these key features are included in all standard plans from Semrush. Other leading SEO tools like SE Ranking, Ahrefs, and Moz also have them.
SimilarWeb also lets you try out its features using its 7-day free trial.
6. Ubersuggest
Ubersuggest, created by Neil Patel, quickly grew from a simple keyword tool into a powerful SEO platform—all while staying easy to use. It is often regarded as one of the best SEO tools for those with limited SEO knowledge.
Functionality
With its help, you can track rankings, conduct keyword research, perform site audits, analyze competitors and backlinks, and more. Most of these features are pretty basic—you won’t find Ubersuggest on lists like best site audit tools or best link building solutions.
But even though it’s not as comprehensive as Semrush, Ubersuggest gets the job done and can sometimes do it better.
The AI tools offered by Ubersuggest are also noteworthy. It features an AI Writer (for generating full-length article drafts), AI SEO Meta Tags, AI Social (for creating SEO-friendly posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media platforms), and AI Paid Ads (for crafting ad titles and copies). It also launched its AI Search Visibility tool, designed to help you track and optimize visibility on AI platforms.
Interface
Ubersuggest has a minimalist aesthetic, but still has all the information you’ll ever want or need. On the dashboard, for example, it immediately gives you site optimization ideas.

It’s straightforward to use and easy to navigate.
User reviews
On G2, users gave Ubersuggest 4.2 out of 5 stars. On Capterra, it scored 4.4 out of 5 stars. It also currently has 8.8 out of 10 stars on TrustRadius. Ubersuggest is a newer tool and isn’t the most well-known Semrush alternative, but it’s quickly evolving and giving Semrush a run for its money.
One user says that Ubersuggest offers some of “the best mix of useful tools, ease of use, built-in training materials, support and value for money on the market.” And it’s hard to argue with that.
Price
Patel isn’t scared to take on his competitors. He’s also pretty blunt about how much cheaper Ubersuggest is than alternatives like Semrush.

Make one Ubersuggest payment and spend a fraction of what you would with Semrush.

You can also choose one of Patel’s monthly plans. Ubersuggest subscriptions range from $29 to $99 a month, significantly cheaper than Semrush’s cheapest plan. With the Individual plan (the most affordable), you get 1 project, 1 user, 10 AI prompts per project monthly, 1,000 page scans, 125 tracker keywords, and so much more. Check out the full details of each plan on the Ubersuggest website.
While Ubersuggest might not have all the bells and whistles that Semrush has, it still provides comprehensive data while being a cost-effective solution. Unsurprisingly, one user said, “Earlier, we used to use Semrush, which was way too costly. Since the start of 2022, we switched to Ubersuggest, which does the job well and at a reasonably low price.”
7. SEO PowerSuite
SEO PowerSuite is an all-in-one SEO tool. It is consistently ranked among the G2 leaders in SEO software. It’s great for automating, customizing, and branding SEO reports. The downside is that it requires installation.
Functionality
SEO PowerSuite comes complete with a rank tracker, website auditor, SpyGlass (for analyzing backlinks), and LinkAssistant (for link-building and management). It also helps you optimize content for search engines. But while you get custom white labeling and Google Analytics integration, it falls short in data analysis and practical suggestions. This can be a drawback for SMBs, agencies, and enterprises that rely on data-driven insights. Moreover, it lacks comprehensive AI search tools for tracking visibility, offering only AI Overviews monitoring. This suggests the software isn’t fully equipped to meet the demands of modern SEO.
Interface
User reviews suggest that navigating this SEO tool is challenging. While it’s powerful and feature-rich, there’s a steeper learning curve if you don’t already know how to find what you need. But Semrush isn’t all that user-friendly, either.

User reviews
It has 4.5 out of 5 stars on Capterra, 9.5 out of 10 on TrustRadius, and 4.5 out of 5 on G2, making SEO PowerSuite widely consistent based on reviews. It’s a good (but not great) alternative to Semrush—unless you’re willing to pay a premium.
Pricing
SEO PowerSuite has a forever-free plan, which gives you 500 URLs to crawl and audit, and up to 1,100 backlinks to track and analyze, 1 project and 1 competitor to track, and AIO monitoring. However, you won’t have access to additional features like scheduled reports, data exporting, and the ability to save projects. If you need those, you’ll have to upgrade to the Enterprise plan at $49.95/month, but it’s billed annually, which will cost you $599.
8. Raven Tools
Although this SEO and reporting tool has flown under the radar, don’t ignore it. It integrates your marketing and advertising data to help you consolidate your efforts (and its results) under one roof.
Functionality
Raven Tools has tons of tools and features, including reporting, competitor research, a website auditor, rank tracker, backlink tracker, keyword research, and social media reporting. It also offers a tool called “Link Spy”, which helps you check up on your competitors and find new opportunities to get links back to your website. It also has several integrations, including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google/Bing/Facebook ads.
Raven Tools aggregates data from major online marketing authorities like Google, Moz, IBM Watson, and Majestic. Some of the metrics obtained through these third-party providers include:
- External Backlinks (from Moz and Majestic)
- Citation Flow (via Majestic)
- Trust Flow (from Moz)
- Domain Authority (Moz)
- mozRank
- mozTrust
But the reviews indicate that if you’re looking to scale and need something more comprehensive, Semrush is the better option. The fact that RavenTools lacks essential AI search tools for today’s SEO is clear proof of that.
Interface
Raven Tools is easy to use. Its left-hand menu provides quick access to key features and data, which are displayed on the right side of the screen when selected.
But some users say that the interface feels outdated.

User reviews
Raven Tools is a worthy contender, with 4.4 out of 5 stars on Capterra and 4.2 out of 5 stars on G2. But on TrustRadius it only has 7.6 out of 10 stars. Note that Raven Tools has much fewer reviews than Semrush, so it wouldn’t be appropriate to compare them.
Reviews say that Raven Tools (surprisingly) doesn’t provide basic data, not even from Google Ads (a major drawback for SMBs and agencies). Users have also reported bugs and glitches when trying to integrate additional third-party software into Raven Tools, which is a major drawback for all users.
Pricing
Raven Tools’ monthly plans range from $49 to $479 per month. Even their cheapest plan gives you access to everything; it’s just more limited compared to its pricier options. You get two domains/projects, two users, some data storage, and a “light” CRM. The plan also includes unlimited automated client reports, 50,000 monthly page crawls for website audits, limited white labeling features, and 1,500 trackable keywords per month.
9. cognitiveSEO
While cognitiveSEO is a lesser-known Semrush alternative, it provides top-notch digital marketing strategy analysis with brand growth insights.
Functionality
It offers a built-in content optimization tool, on-page auditing, backlink analysis, rank tracking, keyword research, competitor analysis, a fully customizable SEO dashboard, marketing reports, and an SEO API. You can also take cognitiveSEO’s free tools for a test drive. But it lacks an AI search tool, which Semrush does offer.
Interface
Users have said that the interface, especially for the keyword research tool, is slow and not very intuitive. Some also note cognitiveSEO’s limited suitability for agencies and large enterprises. Smaller companies and solopreneurs may not benefit as much from it. (CognitiveSEO rates higher for its quality of support, which makes sense given that it’s a much smaller tool/company.)

User reviews
Users have rated it 4.4 out of 5 stars on G2, 9.6 out of 10 stars on TrustRadius, and 4.5 out of 5 stars on Capterra. Like Raven Tools, it’s a lesser-known Semrush competitor, which puts it at a disadvantage compared to well-established brands like Semrush.
Pricing
It’s not the most budget-friendly Semrush alternative. CognitiveSEO’s cheapest plan is $129.99 a month. You can track 1,500 keywords, analyze 200,000 inbound links, get 150 content audit credits, and analyze 50,000 links per site in the on-page audit. You’ll also get two user seats and five campaigns. All three plans have Google Analytics integration included. Upgrading is required if you want to white-label the tool, use JavaScript crawling, get API access, or work with a customer success manager. Its price might also not be suitable for solopreneurs or small businesses operating on tight budgets.
10. Sistrix
Sistrix is an all-in-one SEO suite that offers powerful insights and data to help boost your website’s search rankings. Beyond the platform’s wide range of tools for Google SEO are its tools for Amazon SEO and influencer marketing. Sistrix caters to a broad range of users, including small businesses, SEO freelancers, digital marketing agencies, and larger brands.
Functionality
Sistrix offers a comprehensive suite of SEO tools, focusing primarily on visibility tracking and competitor analysis. Much like Semrush’s Visibility Score, Sistrix offers a Visibility Index that measures domains’ overall search engine visibility. Users can access the visibility of over 100 million domains and compare their website’s performance with competitors.

Sistrix earns its position among SE Ranking’s top competitor analysis tools in 2025 due to its ability to help you observe competitors’ keyword choices, identify their best-performing content types, and examine their traffic sources.
Sistrix also provides extensive keyword research capabilities, with the largest keyword database in Europe (over 450 million cross-continent keywords and over 50 million in the UK alone). The platform’s Content Planner lets users organize keywords by core topics and guides them through the entire keyword research and content creation process. The SISTRIX Optimizer identifies technical issues that could hurt your SEO performance and offers tips to fix them.
However, Sistrix’s feature range is not as broad as Semrush’s, particularly in areas like social media management and AI visibility. The latter is in beta. Sistrix’s AI Prompt Tracker is in beta and available to customers for testing.
Interface
Sistrix’s interface is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, with a navigation menu that enables easy access to various tools and features. The search bar has an autocomplete functionality to help users quickly analyze any domain or keyword. On the other hand, some reviewers mention that the interface includes unnecessary steps. Its UI elements also misalign sometimes by moving to the right instead of staying centered. This makes it more challenging to navigate than Semrush’s interface.
User reviews
Sistrix’s user reviews are mostly positive, with users praising it for its accurate visibility tracking, competitor analysis features, and helpful customer support. It has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars on G2 and 4.5 out of 5 stars on Capterra, although its review count is significantly less than Semrush’s. Some users have noted that its free tools provide limited insights. Some of its features also have slower speeds, and it’s priced high compared to similar services.
Pricing
Sistrix’s pricing falls within the same ballpark as Semrush’s plans. Sistrix’s cheapest plan starts at €119 per month. This plan includes user access for one account, the ability to analyze up to 10,000 results per analysis, and a 3-month data history. You can also work on 3 projects, crawl 30,000 URLs, and receive 2,500 SERP updates.
Prices for higher-tier plans range from €239/month to €799/month, offering more generous data allowances, additional user seats, and extra features like API access, content marketing tools, and white-label reporting. While Sistrix’s pricing is comparable to Semrush’s, its customization options are less flexible.
11. Mangools
The last tool on our list is Mangools, a user-friendly Semrush alternative with a powerful SEO toolkit. It offers five core tools for keyword research, SERP analysis, rank tracking, backlink analysis, and competitor analysis. Mangools is a good choice, especially for pricing and ease of use.
Functionality
Mangools has a very creative team. Each of their tools has a unique and memorable name that sticks with you.
For example, their KWFinder tool helps uncover valuable, high-potential keywords to target. To analyze SERPs and gain valuable insights into their competitors’ strategies, you can use SERPChecker. To monitor site rankings and identify improvement opportunities, make use of SERPWatcher. To uncover link-building opportunities and assess backlink profile quality, use LinkMiner. Another exceptional tool is SiteProfiler, which provides users with comprehensive overviews of website authority, trustworthiness, and backlink profiles. It pulls this data from Moz and Majestic.
The software also includes the AI Search Watcher Pro, which offers a comprehensive view of how your brand performs across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, Mistral and Llama.
Note that Semrush still has a few more bells and whistles. Mangools does not currently provide tools for crawl analysis and website audits. Plus, while Mangools is featured in SE Ranking’s list of the best keyword research tools, it also ranks among the top in keyword database size.
Interface
Mangools’ user-friendliness is one of its greatest strengths. You don’t need to be a tech guru to figure it out, as the interface is clean, modern, and intuitive.

Plus, everything is laid out sensibly, making it easy to focus on pulling relevant data and insights. Mangools’ users often leave reviews saying it is the “easiest SEO tool”, and “easy to use and easy to manage”.
User reviews
Users appreciate the platform’s ease of use, affordable pricing, responsive customer support, and well-balanced features for beginners and advanced users. The platform has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars on G2 and 4.8 out of 5 stars on Capterra.
Pricing
Mangools’ less expensive plans are up to 3x cheaper than Semrush’s. Their basic plan starts at just $61 per month (against Semrush’s $199). It includes access to all tools with limited usage allowances. For example, it provides 100 keyword lookups and 100 SERP lookups every 24 hours, 200 tracked keywords daily, and 100,000 backlink rows monthly.
Mangools’ higher-tier plans will cost you as follows: $81/month for Mangools Premium, and $141/month for Mangools Agency. These plans offer more generous usage limits, and extra seats for team members.
All plans include AI Search Watcher PRO.
Mangools has a free plan, plus a 35% discount to yearly subscribers.
FAQs
Semrush has many advantages, offering a wide range of tools and solutions that generate diverse data. However, its steep learning curve and lack of a more affordable monthly plan may be drawbacks for some companies.

It depends on your needs and goals! Semrush is better suited for bigger companies with the budget and manpower to stomach its hefty price tag. Ubersuggest is better suited for individual SEOs looking for a free or cost-efficient tool that gets the job done.
Summary: Which Semrush alternative is the best choice?
Our review covered eleven alternatives to Semrush, each with a different set of strengths depending on what you need the tool to do.
SE Ranking is the strongest option for tracking visibility across search, AI-generated results, and social, and building client reporting workflows around that data.
Ahrefs is worth considering if backlink analysis and competitive research depth are the priority.
Similarweb covers the broadest intelligence scope, including market research, traffic analysis, digital benchmarking. Though it operates across separate products rather than a connected platform.
Mangools and Ubersuggest are solid choices for smaller teams or those starting out with SEO who need a clean, focused toolset without the complexity of a full platform.
The right choice depends on what your team actually needs to track, and that means thinking beyond rankings alone.
