SE Ranking Family: 2025 recap and 2026 roadmap
Every year, we take a step back to look at what we’ve built together and a step forward to share where we’re heading next. But most importantly, we take time to celebrate you—our users.
Thanks to you, SE Ranking has grown beyond an SEO platform into a family of products and an ecosystem designed to help you be visible where search happens now, in traditional engines, AI platforms, and social media. Your feedback, feature requests, and even your frustrations shape what we build next.
A year of transformation: What we accomplished in 2025
Before we share what’s ahead, let’s take a moment to reflect on what we built together in 2025:
- We welcomed Planable into the SE Ranking family. This gave you access to a powerful social media management platform, where you can plan, approve, and schedule social content with your team and clients. For many of you, this closed an important gap between SEO strategy and social execution.
- We introduced the AI Search add-on to help you stay ahead and optimize for better visibility in AI systems. You can now monitor and improve your presence across AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, analyze competitors, review AI sources, and more.
- We built the SE Visible platform to give you a helicopter-level understanding of your brand visibility in AI search. This solution gives you strategic insights into how your brand appears across AI engines, combining competitor data and sentiment analysis to help you build a solid AI search strategy.
- We expanded our API offering, adding data on AI search, technical site audit, domain analysis, keyword research, and backlinks. To make this data easier to use across your workflows, we also introduced integrations with Looker Studio, Make, n8n, and MCP Server.
- We made major updates to the Website Audit tool. Now you have a more transparent Health Score that makes it easier to understand how issues affect your overall site condition. We also added new widgets, email reports, filtering tabs, and a new context menu.
- We delivered a unified dashboard that adapts to your workflow. Now you can view and customize a snapshot of all your projects, tracking the metrics that matter most in one flexible dashboard.
- We introduced the ability to buy extra keywords, giving you more freedom to scale your tracking as your projects grow.
It was a big year. But 2026 is shaping up to be even bigger.
SE Ranking product focus for 2026: four major directions
We have four big areas of focus for 2026. Some specifics might change as the year unfolds, but these are the directions guiding our work.
A unified experience across our product family
With SE Ranking, SE Visible, and Planable now under one roof, our priority is making these products work seamlessly together.

Whether you’re optimizing your website with SE Ranking, analyzing brand AI visibility in SE Visible, or managing social content using Planable, you need a smooth experience, no matter if you’re switching between tools or trying one for the first time. Our goal is to support this by building deeper connections, shared context, and easy onboarding so you can manage your digital presence from one ecosystem.
AI search features are going deeper
In 2026, we’ll continue investing in AI search capabilities with a strong focus on more comprehensive competitive intelligence and actionable insights. This includes expanding how we analyze competitive data, identifying visibility gaps, and helping you understand where opportunities exist.

We’re also preparing for the next big shift: advertising on AI platforms. With ChatGPT set to launch ads, we’ll help you track and analyze advertising visibility in AI platforms.
On the analytics side, we’re building forecasting features like impression forecasts. This way, you can better understand your potential visibility and plan accordingly.
And we’ll continue improving workflow efficiency with smarter project setup and better ways to organize and group your prompts.
Improving backlink data coverage, quality, and consistency
Backlinks remain critical for SEO success, and now for AI search as well. So, we’ll continue working on making our backlink data even more reliable.
In 2026, we’re focusing on three areas:
- Improving data freshness so you get more up-to-date information about new and lost backlinks.
- Expanding coverage so you see more backlinks in your reports.
- Refining data relevance and consistency so you can trust backlink data for strategic decisions.
SE Ranking API improvements
If you rely on our API for custom reporting or automation, we’re making big moves this year.
- We’re polishing the AI Search API to help you track LLM visibility at scale. You’ll get clear insights into who’s winning in AI search and how your actions contribute to that performance.
- We’re also extending our MCP capabilities to support agentic workflows and AI-driven execution of SEO tasks. If you’re building automation into your processes, this opens up new possibilities.
- We’ll be adding new Local and On-Page SEO API endpoints to expand what you can do with our API.
That covers SE Ranking. Now let’s look at what’s coming for the other products in our family.

Planable plans for 2026
Planable brings social media scheduling, collaboration, and organization in one place, making it a favorite tool for agencies and companies handling multiple brands.

In 2026, we’re making big improvements across the board — from planning and content creation to collaboration and automation.
- Smarter publishing: We’re introducing “best times to post” — a new feature that helps social media managers choose the most effective time slots based on previous content performance. Plus, as always, we’re keeping up-to-date with new content formats, UI changes, and anything else native platforms release.
- Better organization: We’re upgrading the calendar view, by far our users’ favorite view, to make content review and planning even more intuitive. We’re also releasing a major update to the media library, with folders and advanced filtering to help teams keep content assets organized and easy to find.
- Simpler collaboration & automation: We’re expanding approval settings to support even more complex and flexible workflows for our agency and brand clients. To increase efficiency even further, we’re launching a Zapier integration, with more automation options to follow.
- More ways to manage social: We’re adding the ability to manage direct messages through Planable’s social inbox, enabling teams to respond faster to their audience requests, all in one place.
- A better mobile experience: For those working on the go, we’re redesigning the mobile app with a fresh interface and expanded features — making it easier to review, collaborate, and publish content wherever you are.
