This role will be instrumental in transforming how we make decisions, build strategy, and drive growth through data. You won’t just be running reports – you’ll be leading a company-wide shift toward proactive, integrated, and business-critical analytics.
What You’ll Do:
1. Drive Business Through Data
- Lead the transformation from descriptive analytics to decision-centric analytics.
- Make data a core driver of company-wide goals: growth, retention, and operational efficiency.
- Build processes and systems to proactively identify business opportunities and risks.
- Help teams uncover what truly impacts revenue, churn, and product engagement.
- Be a thought partner to leadership on strategy and performance levers.
2. Integrate Data into Teams’ Daily Work
- Champion data enablement across all functions: Product, Marketing, Sales, and CS.
- Scale usage of signals from Gemini and Horizon to optimize cross-team workflows.
- Empower teams to self-serve data and create reports independently.
- Drive education and enablement to embed data into everyday decision-making.
- Build and promote a strong data culture – where data is treated as a product.
3. Scale Data Infrastructure
- Lead the evolution of our analytics platform and architecture to meet increasing demand.
- Own planning, governance, and scalability of our data infrastructure.
- Ensure seamless integration between SE Ranking data systems.
- Partner with engineering to improve data flow, quality, and accessibility.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in senior data leadership roles, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Proven track record of building high-impact data teams and infrastructure
- Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Sales, and CS
- Strategic thinker with hands-on skills – you know how to go deep when needed
- Experience in enabling self-service analytics and scaling a data culture
- Strong understanding of modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, Looker, etc.)
- Ability to translate business goals into scalable data solutions
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
