SE Ranking, an all-in-one SEO and digital marketing platform, is seeking a Design Lead to lead design across our SEO Solutions area. We are looking for a design leader who can define a clear product design vision, scale a strong team, and turn complex data-heavy workflows into cohesive, measurable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

You will report directly to Mike Korenugin and lead Product Design across SEO Solutions – overseeing SEO & AI Search needs of customers across the SE Ranking platform, SE Visible, and Data Product initiatives.

In your day-to-day work, you will partner closely with your design team – Vadym Dziuman, Aliaksei Harbouski, Daria Peresetskaya, and Anastasiya Zhabrun – supporting their growth, raising quality standards, and stepping in hands-on when needed to lead by example.

You will also collaborate tightly with Dzianis Dudzinski and all PMs/EMs to shape solutions early, balance trade-offs, and ensure design decisions are grounded in product metrics and customer needs.

This is not a purely managerial role. We expect you to combine strategic ownership, team leadership, and strong hands-on product design capability. You will define and drive the design vision across products, ensuring a shared design language and cohesive user experience as our ecosystem evolves.

Initial Focus Areas:

In the first 90 days we expect you to:

  • Define the early draft design vision for SEO Solutions: clarify principles and direction that align SE Ranking, SE Visible, and Data initiatives under one coherent design language.
  • Assess team structure: identify gaps and set performance standards across the team.
  • Build a plan (and hopefully start implementing some of it):
    • Increase design team productivity: optimize collaboration rituals, introduce AI-assisted workflows where valuable, and reduce friction between Design, PM, and Engineering.
    • Strengthen design as the voice of the customer: embed research practices, improve validation loops, and ensure UX decisions are grounded in real user behavior.
    • Align design decisions with data: define and reinforce how design outcomes connect to product metrics and business impact.
    • Upgrade the design system: assess current maturity, improve scalability, patterns, and consistency across data-heavy workflows.

Long-Term Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the shared design language across products as the ecosystem grows.
  • Make data-led design decisions tied to activation, retention, and workflow success
  • Scale and develop a high-performing design team with clear expectations and quality standards.
  • Improve productivity through smarter workflows and AI tools
  • Ensure complex, data-heavy interfaces remain intuitive, consistent, and outcome-driven.
  • Establish design as a strategic partner in roadmap and product decision-making.
  • Balance hands-on contribution with leadership to maintain high craft and execution quality. The goal here is to lead by example with select critical projects or occasionally taking over something from your team to balance their workload.
  • Continuously improve how design contributes to measurable product outcomes.

We are destined to be if you have:*

  • Strong experience in B2B SaaS product environments.
  • Several years of experience managing and growing product designers.
  • A track record of shipping complex, data-heavy products (SEO platforms, tax management tools, investment platforms, analytics systems, etc.).
  • Strong UX and systems thinking — the ability to simplify complexity at scale.
  • Experience evolving or scaling a design system in a growing product organization.
  • Ability to connect design decisions to measurable product outcomes.
  • Confidence working closely with Engineering and Product in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent spoken English (Ukrainian or Russian is a plus, but not required).

*Bonus: understanding of agency workflows.
