As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will be a strategic advisor to our R&D department, working closely with individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders. Your mission is to align people strategy with business goals, drive a strong company culture, and support employees at all levels. You’ll own key HR processes, including performance management, salary reviews, talent development, onboarding, and workforce planning.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to R&D leadership, providing guidance on people strategy, performance, and team dynamics.
  • Align HR initiatives with business objectives to support a high-growth, product-driven environment.
  • Coach and support managers in leadership development, team scaling, and employee relations.

Compensation, Budgeting & Market Alignment

  • Help with salary review cycles, ensuring market competitiveness and internal fairness.
  • Support workforce planning and headcount forecasting to align hiring needs with business goals.
  • Monitor market trends and employment laws (EU & US) to maintain competitive compensation structures.

Performance, Talent & Leadership Development

  • Own and optimize core HR processes: Performance Reviews, OKRs, Growth Plans, and PIPs.
  • Design and execute Leadership Development Programs to upskill managers and high-potential employees.
  • Facilitate L&D initiatives and internal mobility programs to promote career growth.
  • Structure organizational design and job leveling to ensure career progression clarity.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a go-to person for workplace concerns, ensuring fair, transparent resolution of employee issues.
  • Provide guidance on team dynamics, conflict resolution, and employee well-being.
  • Foster an open feedback culture, ensuring employees feel heard and valued.

HR Metrics & Workforce Insights

  • Monitor and analyze key HR metrics: eNPS, churn, agreement scores, retention, and engagement.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve team performance and culture.

Change Management & Organizational Development

  • Support teams through periods of change, restructuring, and leadership transitions.
  • Design change management strategies to maintain high engagement during transformations.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Strategy

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement DEI initiatives.
  • Monitor diversity metrics and recommend improvements to hiring, promotion, and retention policies.

HR Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws across Europe.
  • Collaborate with Legal to mitigate risks, manage terminations, and implement HR policies.

What We Expect from You

  • 4+ years of experience in an HRBP or strategic HR role in a tech-driven environment.
  • Strong business acumen, ability to align HR strategy with company objectives.
  • Experience working with R&D teams, understanding engineering & product career paths.
  • Expertise in compensation, salary benchmarking, and workforce budgeting.
  • Strong HR analytics skills, experience using data to drive decisions.
  • Good understanding of employment laws in Europe.
  • Exceptional communication & stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience managing Performance Reviews, PIPs, L&D, and Leadership Development.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher to collaborate across international teams.
  • Native Ukrainian, Belarusian or Russian.
